On June 21, 2019, The Center for Integrity in Forensic Sciences had one of its first events. The event was a symposium to educate lawyers, scientists, and the public on how to practice forensic science more reliably along with educating people on the other goals of CIFS. The goals of CIFS fall under the categories of legislative, systematic, and direct service.
