CIFS Executive Director Kate Judson on Prosecutors Roles in Exonerations
Rosa Jimenez was convicted of murdering a child in Texas in 2003. Her conviction was based on the opinions of medical experts, which have now been shown to be seriously flawed. Four judges have now reviewed the case and believe Jimenez is innocent. Judges and prosecutors have the ability to stop junk forensic science and biased testimony from wrongfully convicting the innocent.
