CIFS President and Co-Founder Keith Findley says, “[t]here is no one solution to the problem. The scientific communities — both within the forensic disciplines and more broadly within the academic research sciences — must validate and improve the reliability of forensic evidence.” He also emphasizes the importance of oversight by a national commission on forensic science, of education of judges, of strong defense attorneys, and more.
